Katie & Paul, so sad that I won`t be able to join your greatest day!
You climbed to the very top as a team and you will be able to achieve everything as long as you do it together. It was a wonderful inspiration to join you on the climb. I have just returned from a 3 weeks climb to Nepal summiting Island Peak and hope to go to Argentina next year for another adventure. So you see, Kilimanjaro changed our lives – one way or the other. Hope to see you soon in Germany.

I watched with awe as my son became the man he is. His flaws and faults disappear when compared to the strengths and virtues that define him. If I could go to a mad scientist or plead to the odd gods of the galaxy to create a perfect mate to protect, cherish and love our boy; they would have delivered Katie. As I said when you announced your engagement, you both deserve each other. Thrive.
